Minimal access ENT surgery

Interesting Case report :

We recently had an elderly lady with an incidentally detected Tumor in the Para pharyngeal region ( side of the back of the mouth ) .

The patient has been cautioned about the difficulty in accessing the Tumor for removal due to its unfavorable location .

After meticulous planning, not only were we able to remove the Tumor completely by also without an external scar . The Tumor was accessed through the mouth itself and was guided by high definition camera for dissection and removal in toto. (Endoscope assisted trans oral excision )

The outcome is very gratifying to the patient and to the surgical team .
